Just a couple of pics today.
First of all the completed Doll Quilt #1, it's just got minimal stitch in the ditch quilting and around the applique pieces. I'm scared to do anything more adventurous in case I 'ruin' it. Afraid the lighting in the photo isn't brilliant but yes, you've guessed it, it's still raining.
And another bit of the CW quilt, I've sandwiched it today so I should be able to finish and post it well within the deadline. I'd show the whole thing but I'm not sure if you are supposed to or not.

I love your applique doll quilt! The colors are just so lovely!! And I'm always drawn to applique. :) The CW quilt is wonderful, too. Love how you used the prints in this one.

Your doll quilt is just adorable! It makes me want to run out and make one for myself, but I am trying to restrain myself and finish what I have started. The CW quilt is nice too.

Oh - both quilts look great. Can't wait to see the whole CW piece.

We were just told we've had one of the driest years on record . . . can you send a little rain this way *s*

It looks so cheerful. I think it would make a lot of grown ups play "dolls".

Your quilts are wonderful, especially the doll quilt. Reading backwards, I saw the post where you said you enjoyed looking at the scraps - I do, too. You did a wonderful job of creating a cheery, happy quilt that has to bring a smile to anyone who looks at it.

That is very sweet... I just showed it to everyone I am chatting with online LOL (I love this instant connection around the globe!)
I tend to use darker colors myself, but now I have an idea for those brights I have too.
