But for some reason blogger is happy to upload this picture of my favourite drink - tea. I drink lots of tea, and I like it strong, with a little milk. When we go to Europe I really miss it because it is not worth asking for as it comes very weak and the water it's made with isn't boiling. I just like the packaging on this box but this brand makes good tea too.
On the quilt front, I have been mainly cutting out more strips for the recycled top and will hopefully be able to sew more this weekend. However, could be dodgy as I have also taken it upon myself to hire a skip (think you might call this a dumpster). The time has come to declutter - starting with our garage, which houses a large and growing collection of old cardboard boxes, kid's toys and odd tins of paint. To give an idea of the scale of this problem, I have to confess that our garage contains no less than eight bicycles. And the loft (attic), well, I couldn't even begin to go there. No, seriously, I couldn't even begin to go there, the floor is covered with boxes, books, more old toys - you can't walk from one side of the room to the other.
Tomorrow is the first day back at school for DS, and DD starts Sixth Form College - feels like Autumn is here already.

I'm a big Iced tea drinker, Grew up drinking it. Mom swears it was in our baby bottles. De-cluttering is a pain, but you'll be so proud when it's complete. When we had Eric's Grad party this year, it was amazing the things we hauled off and don't even miss. I know I'm ready to get back to a routine. Don says we need to find a college and put Chelsey in it.... Every one is going through changes adapting to Eric being gone...It makes me realize how close we are....
interesting the different names we assign to things in our countries. Skip sounds a whole lot better than dumpster though you know exactly what it does, I guess. Toss, toss and toss--it is a lot of work but think how good you will feel without the clutter!
While I'm sure you probably won't enjoy the declutter process just anticipating the results should inspire you.
I'm a coffee girl, but I do enjoy iced-tea in the summer.
Tea for me too. When we moved to the new house, an entire cupboard got assigned to "Tea." I even have a Tea quilt "steeping" in the back of my mind.

My father came from Ireland, so tea was the drink of the house. I've included coffee for the last 25 years, but there is nothing better than sitting down with a good cup of tea. Mine is either King Cole from Canada or Barry's from Ireland. Real tea-none of those flavored imitations.
I am a black tea drinker- with sugar and milk. My electric teakettle is a must! My Dad likes his tea so strong you bring 1 cut of water and 2 tea bags to a boil and steep for a few minutes - yuck! But he likes it that way!
Throwing stuff away - when I moved to Canada a few years ago it took 2 HUGE construction dumpsters to move me out of the house! I was left with only the necessities, personal treasures, photos, sewing stuff... amazing how many old rubber bands and dead pens we collect over the years! The moving cost was going to be way too much if we couldn't fit everything into 1 medium truck, so that is what we did!
