Not much sewing going on around here lately, the new job is quite demanding (particularly as I'm still doing my old one at the same time - don't ask) and I've had to travel about a bit this week.
Also I've been packing as we are going away on holiday for a few days to the Czech Republic. I hate packing - I just can't imagine how all you bloggers out there who are moving house must feel, just packing a suitcase stresses me out. I am looking forward to going away though.
I didn't want my last post for a few days not to have a picture so I've just used another postcard made for a friend's birthday to fill up the space with a bit of visual interest :-)
I'll look forward to catching up when I get back - bye for now.

Have Fun!! Thanks for your comment on my last post...I purchased the stuff in appleton to try my hand at the postcards. I love yours. Are you flying? I never get use to the searches they do now. At the job I use to have, I travelled frequently. I was mortified when they would open my luggeage. the guys I travelled with always said," Mel, put the DIRTY underwear on top and they don't dig very deep!!!" I'm leaving you with a smile. Take care
Melanie

Your applied flowers are just lovely Fiona! I had noticed it as your profile picture, but never seen it close up. I love that you stitched all the way around the edges like that...I'm very impressed. Tonya does that too, but I've never tried it...think I will..Hugs, Finn
Stop by to check and see if you were home... hope your having fun...
Melanie
Fiona, enjoy your vacation and try to forget about work while you are gone!!!
Love your flowers postcard. Very neat work and lovely use of fabric :) Enjoy the holiday.
I presume Prague is on your itinerary - it's supposed to be gorgeous - I narrowly missed going three years ago as I was just out of hospital - DH went with the group of friends as it didn't seem worth wasting two tickets - he said it was wonderful - enjoy! - it's still on my 'to-do' list
Hi, just dropping by. Hope you enjoyed your vacation. That is a lovely postcard. I'm off to read some of your archives.
