Quilt Top

Were you taking bets on whether I'd pop up again any time soon?  The sun was bright today so here's a pic of the quilt top for my Dad.  For such a simple pattern it sure is taking a long time to finish.  The colours aren't very seasonal are they?  They were when I started it.

I was going to try to do something a bit more fancy with a border but I'm thinking that it's going to be better to cut my losses and quilt it as it is - I don't think my Dad will mind.

Sometime soon I'll also update my side bar - I have read lots of books this year already.  I need to get rid of the 2009 books and get with the times.

Love the Vivid colors. I've got a date for some surgery in May. I'm going to take note of your book list, to help pass the time.

I think your quilt is VERY seasonal -- it reminds me of a bunch of bright, beautiful tulips. I LOVE it!(Oh, and man, are you ever a reading machine!!!)

Your quilt is looking fabulous! I'd just quilt and bind. Your dad is going to love it. Ann :-)

Welcome Back!! Love your autumnal looking quilt. I've just done the same but with vintage sheets and it was such a nice and easy project to get stuck into.
