A most beautiful sewing box that she made herself (how awesome is that?) and four lovely fat quarters. I could just squeal in delight - in fact I think I will anyway because after all, you can't hear me.
Here's a close up of the exquisite workmanship. I could never, ever make anything like this myself and I can't stop looking at it. It has certainly brightened up this dull January.
And - better late than never, here is a pic of the swap I received from Sandi in Chookyblue's SSCS. Once again my luck is in - don't you think the Penny Rug looks good in my kitchen? Seems a shame to put it away until next Christmas.
I'm not very good at New Year's Resolutions but I've copied Clare, in resolving to answer all my comments this year (just so long as they're not no-reply). And, don't faint, some time very soon I may just be able to show a pic of a finished double-bed sized quilt. Wonders will never cease!

Wow - you lucky girl...it is beautiful and I love the pink...very cheery indeed especially on these dull days.
Hope you are keeping well.
what lovely gifts.........thanks for being part of the SSCS...........
Love that little box - one of the ladies at my quilt group had us all making them a few months ago - I'm ashamed to say that I didn't even get past the thinking stage
Thanks for the link - so far I'mm sticking to it, but it depends on how many I get LOL.
The sewing basket is exquisite. What a lovely lovely gift.
Fiona,
I am only just tonight posting the gifts that I received from Shelley. I should have posted them long ago. Got sick after Christmas and threw me off totally and I am only just now getting my act together. Glad you liked the gifties. Oh, that box from Andrea is lovely!!!
What a really pretty box! And the fat quarters were a delicious addition too.
Andrea does such lovely work! Very nice box, & yes, fat 1/4s make me swoon too!
Lovely penny Rug there. Good luck with your stitching this year.
Such lovely gifts! I shall look forward to your big reveal!
