Believe me, I picked up ideas from elsewhere too.Tonya Ricuccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10778059489713831067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27685457.post-1149906262478200262006-06-10T03:24:00.000+01:002006-06-10T03:24:00.000+01:00Fiona - Love the card. And well worth the craned neck!

By the way, I checked out some of your previous posts and saw that you're looking to get a hutch rabbit. May I strongly recommend getting a HOUSE rabbit instead? Loads of fun, charming, and far more interesting than a creature you only get to interact with when you run out to the garden to feed the little critter. I have one myself and strongly recommend it.

House rabbits are not a new idea, I believe you Brits were on the leading edge of bringing your hutch rabbits indoors to live permanently. For loads of info on care, personalities and etc. check out www.rabbit.org. That's the house rabbit society here in the US. I know there's a House Rabbit org in the UK, but can't remember where to find it.

Also, please consider adopting a "second hand" bun from a shelter or rescue group. They're usually spayed/neutered and litterbox trained already.

And good luck with the job upheaval. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.Lois R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01248538379641320038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27685457.post-1149878628844534262006-06-09T19:43:00.000+01:002006-06-09T19:43:00.000+01:00very lovely card Fiona, so sorry to hear about the...very lovely card Fiona, so sorry to hear about the job swapping tactics..hope it all works out okFinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17677133672404343036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27685457.post-1149871729095675752006-06-09T17:48:00.000+01:002006-06-09T17:48:00.000+01:00Fiona - you made me laugh with your comment on my ...Fiona - you made me laugh with your comment on my posting about free motion quilting - just go with what you feel happy with and what works for you - sod the rest of 'em :o) - down with quilt police!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08352283065863856112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27685457.post-1149866945939213802006-06-09T16:29:00.000+01:002006-06-09T16:29:00.000+01:00Fiona, I love it!! My hubby went through a sale of his company one year ago and we lucked out and got a fabulous new owner, but most times it's not as good. Luck to you and to your friend that it all works out well.

Flowers and leaves are universal, everyone has done them so don't worry. We love to get "inspired" from reading others blogs and that's part of the fun!! I plan to make one of your bags soon for myself!!

judyJudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14059454522337423829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27685457.post-1149841226180949812006-06-09T09:20:00.000+01:002006-06-09T09:20:00.000+01:00Fiona - that is lovely - what a nice pick-me-up fo...Fiona - that is lovely - what a nice pick-me-up for your friend - job uncertainty is dire - we've been through redundancy three times in three years a while ago and it's so soul destroying and unsettling - I'm sure this will be just the ticket to help lift her spirits - oh dear - another thing to add to the 'to try' list -what do you use to stiffen the card? - love the effect of the variegated thread on the satin stitch round the edge - must try :o) One of the great advantages of this blogging lark gleaning ideas from other talented peopleAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08352283065863856112noreply@blogger.com
